This is a blog that hosts my Japanese writing practice (via prompts and diaries), translation practice, and other learning updates. View all posts.

I write about my learning process and other things on my other blog!

This is a translation of instructions for a reading comprehension drill book.

How to use “Early to bed, early to rise – 5 Minute Morning Drills”

These drills consist of the front and back of one sheet per installment.

1. Front side of page – Let’s use 5 minutes to concentrate and solve it. If you finish, your family can check your answers, or you can check your answers on your own.

“If you suddenly concentrate, your mind will awaken!”

2. Reverse side of page – Let’s repeat studying the kanji that appears in the composition on the front side. Let’s also write things like the previous days sleeping hours, and a record of studying/reading/hand washing.

“Places you write an O on aren’t the source of a problem.”

3. Achievement Sheet – Let’s stick a “You did it sticker” on the number of the page you studied. Do your best to fill them all until the last one!
